Bonding:

The nonwoven backing of the roofing membrane makes it ideal for bonding to a wide range of substrates.

Ballast:

Since RENOLIT ALKORTEC A roofing membrane is resistant to plant roots, it can be used in ballasted roof systems employing conventional ballast, tiles on tile pedestals, or for extensive roof gardens etc. (Combination RENOLIT ALKORGREEN)
The polyester backing provides additional protection for installation of the roofing membrane on uneven substrates.

Mechanical fastening:

Subject to lower pull-out forces than those for our RENOLIT ALKORTEC F roofing membrane, the RENOLIT ALKORTEC A roofing membrane is also suitable for installation by means of mechanical fastening.

Mechanical fastening:

The RENOLIT ALKORTEC F roofing membrane features polyester reinforcement, and is ideally suited to installation in a system by means of mechanical fastening. The roofing membrane can also be installed quickly, easily and tightly, and with a smooth roof surface as the result.

For fastening solar panels to new or existing EVA/EBA roofs, the RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR system with adapted EVA/EBA formulation can be used. The ultra-light fastening system enables the solar panels to be fastened mechanically but without penetration of the roofing membrane.
